Independent Living Support with Susannah at Mercy Home

To assist some of our children in the transition through adolescence to adulthood, one of Starflower's  former teachers established a Respite and Enablement Project. While we provided some early support, Susannah's centre, Mercy Home has grown beyond our wildest expectations and has become a beacon of hope for disabled children and young people in the border region. Stepping Stones continues to provide therapy support to many of the young people who reside there, or visit as day students.
